ADALBERT STIFTER INSTITUTE

Stifter and Upper Austrian literature are broadly defined the main focus of the institute’s research and especially in the context of contemporary writing. Its facilities such as the library, Literary Archive, the Upper Austrian Biographical Archive and the Museum of Literature with the Adalbert Stifter Memorial Chamber are there for that purpose.

The StifterHaus with all its literary and academic resources stands at the service of students and pupils, scholars and teachers and for all members of the public interested in literature.
