The Picture Archive is a part of the Literary Archive which has been expanded and improved over the last decades. The photo and picture materials are currently being put into digital format. New material is added regularly mainly from the activities of the exhibitions held in the StifterHaus.

There are currently over 2,000 portraits and other works of Upper Austrian artists in the Archive and these include those of Austrian and international authors who have been invited to talk at the StifterHaus. Numerous examples are available from various literary evenings and exhibitions.
